Mirvac is developing two new prime office buildings at both 699 Bourke Street and 664 Collins Street, set to rise from the iconic curves of the Southern Cross Station rooftop.
Located at the heart of Melbourne and above the city’s largest transit terminal, the 699 Bourke Street and 644 Collins Street development will be in close proximity to transport and amenity, and is designed to offer up to 45,000sqm of exceptional workspace.
The development will be built on an existing concrete deck, 24 metres above platforms 13-16 of the station that spans 180 metres in length between Collins Street and Bourke Street Bridge and 40 metres in width. The first building to commence construction is 699 Bourke Street, which will be a 12 storey office building that occupies the northern end of the deck, and will have a frontage to the Bourke Street Bridge. 699 Bourke Street will offer over 19,000 square meters of A-grade office space with premium services. The new home of AGL Energy, it is proudly committed to a 5-Star NABERS rating and targeting a 6-Star Green Star rating.
